A design from the battletech series, I decided to cut my teeth on this mech. It took me almost a month to complete the mesh, and I really love the way it turned out. I followed the TRO pic accordingly, but I really needed to make the legs bigger, do to the fact that the referance picture's legs were way too flimsy.

Yes, the legs of all those bird-leg Mechs always struck me as paper thin. Definitely not the kind to carry 20-100 tons at least. :O_o:

Love the smooth look and all. Right now, the only thing that sticks out would be the cockpit window. It somehow looks a bit odd, but that might be because it's the only transparent part of the Mech and thus looks weird in opaque mode.

Quite nice, and a wonderful start for you on dA :)

Yeah, I really didn't know how to make that seem like it was sunk in, So it looks kinda pushed out.

allways found it odd that all mechs from the battletech world look like the timberwolf

hmmm not bad but somehow, something is wrong, probly like you said, the referance pic is bad. I think the hands weapons are too big, did you played MW 4 b4, i think you will know what i mean once you looked at the design ^^
