My buddy and I have a consumer electronics repair center that we're starting up. We fix things like iPods, computers, mp3 players, etc. Anything we can put back together from our own personal knowledge. We're starting off with iPods because they're so damn easy to take apart and fix, eventually moving up to things like xbox 360's (RROD's) and gamecubes (cooling fan malfunctions out the ASSSSSSS) computers, etc. I found a bunch of cheap websites for replacement parts too.
So what I'm asking you guys is if you have any broken consumer electronics you are planning on throwing out, broken ipods, anything, send'm my way. You can talk to me on MSN, or PMs, for more details. But don't throw 'em out.
Also, if you want them fixed you can send them my way too. I'll do it for you guys for 5 bucks plus the shipping and parts.
If you don't trust sending a repair to me, I can understand that. As far as you guys know I'm some crazy over the internets. Personally, I don't think I'd even do that. But I'm serious with the broken electronics deal. If it's worthless to you, it may not be to me.
Even an iPod with a broken screen, dead battery, corrupt hard drive, and scratched cover, I can still pull the mainboard, ribbon cables, and headphone jack off of, and it's somewhat valuable to me.
So let me know if you have anything broken you're about to throw out, and send it my way. I'll pay the shipping.
Thanks
